How will I install and maintain my kit?

Thanks to the quick connectors, the piping, and the provided manual, the installation is accessible to any DIY enthusiast.
The ideal location for installation depends on your boat. The criteria are: the accessibility of water inlets/drainage, the power supply, the available space, and acoustic insulation. With the optional remote control panel, accessibility for starting/stopping is made easier.
The maintenance is made easier by the automatic rinsing system. The filters and membranes are of standard size, available from any shipchandler.
In case of need, replacement parts are easily available worldwide. You remain in control of your system! No more waiting for specific parts from the manufacturer.

In what case should one choose a pressure washer (Karcher or similar) instead of a high-pressure pump?

These are tried-and-tested consumer products.
They can be bought anywhere in the world.
Substantial savings compared to a specialised high-pressure pump.
They are also used to clean the deck and the hull.

If you do not wish to use a pressure washer, choose the dedicated pump option.

Why is the Karcher not provided?

In order to reduce shipping costs and provide you with an optimal price. For your information, a Karcher® K4 (water-cooled) costs around €195 in mainland France.

Can the Karcher work with seawater?

Even though pressure washers are not originally designed for this use, in practice, it poses no problem as long as they are rinsed with a flow of fresh water after each use. Thanks to the rinsing system included in the Jovial kit, the operation can be planned in advance.
